Ashley Rahaman

Scottsdale Attorney

Ashley Rahaman is an accomplished and respected Arizona family law attorney. While attending law school at Washburn University as a Presidential Scholarship recipient, Ashley relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to family and finished law school as a visiting student at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Tempe. On a whim, Ashley contacted a local family law firm and began working as a law clerk, quickly finding her niche. In the decade since, Ashley has established herself as a compassionate but assertive family law attorney, an active member and leader for the family law section of the Maricopa County Bar Association (MCBA), and a Judge Pro Tem for Maricopa County, conducting settlement conferences and serving on the bench. Ashley will serve a second term as the Chair of the Family Law Section Board of Directors for the MCBA in 2020.

Ashley’s dedication to excellence in family law has been recognized with numerous honors. Super Lawyers magazine has selected Ashley to their Rising Stars list every year from 2016 to 2019. She has also won the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in Arizona Award by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, which can be viewed here. Praised by clients and endorsed by her family law peers, Ashley has also received the highest rating possible Avvo rating of 10.0. Ashley has taught continuing legal education courses to other family and divorce attorneys on effective and persuasive legal writing in family court.

To unwind, Ashley enjoys watching television cooking shows, traveling, entertaining guests, and spending time with her husband and children, sisters, and extended family, most of whom now live in Arizona. Ashley is an avid home-baker, a fan of all things “Harry Potter”, a former high-school dance team captain who occasionally slips on her tap shoes to impress her kids, and a member of her church choir.
